A woman with melanin-rich skin holding URSKIN Vitamin C packaging

Vitamin C · Made for melanin-rich skin

The glow wasnever missing.

A four-step Vitamin C ritual built around how melanin-rich skin actually brightens — evenly, gently, and for good.

The ritual

Four steps, in order. Nothing rushed.

Each formula is calibrated to hand off to the next. Morning or night, the sequence is what makes it work.

  1. 01Cleanse

Aloe, honey, niacinamide and Vitamin E join 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid to lift the day away without stripping your barrier.

  2. 02Tone

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, ectoin, allantoin and sodium hyaluronate balance and prep skin so the next steps absorb deeper.

  3. 03Treat

Niacinamide, tranexamic acid, alpha-arbutin and 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid target uneven tone while beta-glucan and hyaluronic acid keep skin calm.

  4. 04Moisturize

Urea, panthenol, niacinamide and a peptide complex seal in hydration while 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid keeps tone even.

Why we make it

Formulated for the skin we were told was the exception.

Most Vitamin C is developed for the lightest skin and then sold to everyone. Melanin-rich skin behaves differently — it brightens more slowly, and dark marks linger longer. URSKIN is built around that reality: Vitamin C paired with niacinamide, barrier-first textures, and a pace that respects how deep tone actually changes.

Founder-led and Black-owned. The glow we promise was always yours — it just finally has the right conditions.

In their words

Slow change, honestly told.

My post-acne dark spots finally look even. I stopped avoiding daylight photos.
Amara O.
The serum is gentle but I can tell it's working. My whole face reads one tone now.
Zelena R.
No sting, no irritation. The cream alone would keep me — the full set is better.
Nia B.

Good to know

Questions, answered plainly.

Still unsure where to start? Try the Mini Glow Kit — it's the best way to give the routine a real chance to work.

Is Vitamin C safe for melanin-rich skin?

Yes. The concern with darker skin is irritation, which can trigger more dark marks. The full line uses 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, a gentler, more stable Vitamin C derivative that brightens without the sting that stronger L-Ascorbic Acid formulas can cause.

How soon will I see a difference?

Most people notice brighter, more hydrated skin within two weeks. Evening out dark marks and post-acne spots takes longer — give the full routine eight to twelve weeks of daily use.

Do I need all four products?

You can start with the serum alone. The four steps are designed to hand off to each other though, so the Mini Glow Kit is where most people see the fastest change.

Can I use this with my other actives?

Yes, with spacing. Use URSKIN in the morning and save retinol or exfoliating acids for the evening, so you're not layering strong actives in one sitting.

Is it safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

The formulas are barrier-first: the cleanser combines aloe and honey with gentle surfactants; the toner includes allantoin, ectoin and sodium hyaluronate; and the serum adds beta-glucan and allantoin. If your skin is reactive, start with the serum every other morning and build up to daily.

Do I still need sunscreen?

Always. Vitamin C works best alongside daily SPF — without it, sun exposure keeps re-darkening the spots you're working to fade.
